VuTe workshop ute freshen up
My latest daily chariot, a 2002 Vu ecojet S in Delft Blue, has been pulled down for a sill repair passenger side and a full respray in one of my all time favourite Holden/HSV colours.
Colour is to remain a secret at the moment but only one I haven't had/got from the 5 favourite hues so keep posted
Ve Omega Sportswagon series 1 customisation
A recent acquisition belonging to my younger sister. I'm currently using while VuTe is off the road so have been doing some improvements and repairs to it as time allows. Was totally stock as a rock so plenty of areas with room for improvement. Watch this space as I've already got heaps in mind for this long roof chariot if I'm allowed the 'artistic expression' lol.

Who is FSV and where did it originate from?
Who is FSV? More to the point where and when did the idea come to be and how did it then become a reality?
FSV was originally nothing more than a pipe dream as a youngster, a pet name given to a personal collection of mighty lion chariots I have owned over the years and the few outside vehicles I had the honour of regularly maintaining and repairing. The idea has been in my mind at least for 35yrs+
Originally looking for a mechanics apprenticeship upon leaving school but having 3-4yr wait times to obtain I decided on a boilermakers apprenticeship to start my working life as i thought to myself with the majority of vehicles being made of metal in all areas, it would be handy to learn the metallurgy of things and i can get the mechanics tickets later.
Everything happened as needed though as I already had an undying and unbreakable passion for absolutely anything mechanical in nature and was smitten with the local icon of GM-Holden from very early on meaning regardless of if ever made to here or not it was always going to be known to anyone truly close in my circle.
Fast forward some 30yrs and a well earned reputation for quality and attention to detail later and a constant role as go to mechanic in all jobs held and a goodby mere chance and genuine generosity I meet and then become heavily involved as a close friend and 'head mechanic' for a well known member of the Burnout community. The gestures of thank you for work performed and treating the rigs as if they were my own meant the FSV badge and name was truly born and proudly worn by 2 very respectable Holdens, 1 in burnouts and the other a member of last yrs and also this yrs Shitbox Rally.
I'm a sole operator who has had a massive passion for anything automotive from roughly the age of 6 and I literally live and breath for the preservation and passing on of history, heritage and legacy that was the Holden brand. Very passionate and take great pride in the quality of everything I do but especially in my work.
